Lubrication of motor bearing

As we all know, the lubrication of motor bearing will directly affect the life of bearing and the service life of motor. It is very important to add grease (oil) to the motor bearing correctly and regularly. Today, let's give you a brief introduction of the main precautions of bearing lubrication
1. For small motor, marathon motor has fully adopted double seal bearing (bearing model is followed by "ZZ"), which is pre oiling type and does not need further oiling.
2. For motors with oil filling and discharging device, these motors have been filled with oil before leaving the factory, but they need to be filled with oil regularly according to the time, oil brand and oil quantity on the oil filling label after use. Replace the grease according to the motor operation and maintenance instruction (generally one year).
Refueling method:
Open the oil nozzle, make sure the oil nozzle is clean, connect the oil nozzle with manual oil gun or pneumatic oil gun, and inject the oil according to the time, oil brand and oil quantity on the oil label.
If there is no way to control the amount of oil, open the oil drain when refueling. After refueling, let the motor run for 20-30 minutes, so that the excess grease has been discharged. Then cover the oil nozzle and the dust cover of the oil drain, and refueling is over.
If too much grease is added to the bearing, the failure of the bearing will be caused if the oil is not drained; If there is too much grease in the bearing, when the motor is running, the grease will produce high temperature by friction and extrusion in the bearing, and the shaft and the bearing are interference fit. If the temperature of the bearing is too high, the temperature of the shaft can not keep up with that of the bearing, it is easy to run the inner ring. If the bearing runs, the inner ring bearing will soon fail.
When refueling, be sure to see the grease brand on the oil filling label and use the correct lubricating grease. If the added grease is not compatible with the original grease, the service life of the bearing will be greatly reduced.
