For the operation of mechanical equipment, small rolling bearing is very important, and in the process of rolling bearing maintenance of mechanical equipment, we often dismantle the rolling bearing for maintenance, so as to make the bearing get better performance maintenance and improve the working quality of mechanical equipment.
Common methods for disassembly of rolling bearing:
1. Percussion method
In the disassembly of rolling bearing of mechanical equipment, knocking method is one of the most commonly used methods, and it is also the simplest. It is not only easy to master, but also causes less damage to mechanical equipment and rolling bearing. The common tool of percussion method is hand hammer, sometimes wood hammer and copper hammer can be used instead. In addition, percussion method also needs to be applied to punches and cushion blocks. In the process of disassembling the rolling bearing, the knocking force is not applied on the rolling element of the rolling bearing, nor on the cage.
In most cases, the force of percussion will be applied to the inner ring of the bearing. It is worth noting that when using the knocking method, if the bearing is installed at the end of the bearing, then some copper rods smaller than the inner diameter of the bearing or soft metal materials can be used to counter the bearing. At this time, the cushion block should be added at the lower part of the bearing, and then the manual hammer should be used to knock gently, The bearing can be removed step by step. The key point of this method is that the force must be controlled well, and the position of the cushion block should be absolutely appropriate, and the focus should be controlled accurately.
2. Pull out method
Compared with the percussion method, the pull-out method has more excellent skills. The force of pull-out method is relatively uniform, and it is relatively easy to control the size of the force and the specific direction of the force. At the same time, using pull-out method to dismantle rolling bearing can dismantle the bearing with larger size. For the bearing with larger interference, this method is also applicable.
The most important thing is that the probability of damage to parts is very small and the disassembly cost is low. When using the pull-out method to remove the bearing, as long as the handle of the special puller is rotated, the bearing will be pulled out slowly. Pay attention to the stress of the hook and bearing during disassembly, and do not damage the hook and bearing. When using, pay attention to prevent the hook from slipping, and the bending angle of the puller's two feet is less than 90 °, The hook of the puller should be hooked on the inner ring of the bearing, not on the outer ring of the bearing, so as to avoid excessive looseness or damage of the bearing. When using the puller, the screw rod shall be aligned with the central hole of the shaft, and shall not be skewed.
