Release bearing unit is an important part of automobile clutch system. For example, if the release bearing is damaged, it will lead to the failure of the automobile clutch. If the release bearing is not sealed well, the dust is easy to enter into the grease, and the grease contains dust impurities, leading to the premature failure of the bearing. Therefore, the seal ring of the release bearing is also very important to the bearing.
The common type of release bearing seal ring is lip seal ring, while the traditional clutch release bearing seal ring adopts single lip structure.
Lip seal
Lip seals come in two geometric shapes: single lip and double lip. It has small friction resistance, certain anti leakage ability and strong resistance to impact peak pressure. Because of the self lubricating oil chamber between the main and auxiliary lips, it reduces the friction resistance and creeping phenomenon. Due to the needs of different media, it can provide a variety of performance materials.

When the framework is used to seal non corrosive medium, the framework is made of 08F steel plate or similar steel plate; For sealing acid, alkali and other corrosive medium quality, corrosion-resistant steel plate or coating with reliable corrosion resistance shall be used for protection. The hoop spring is a spiral cylindrical ring spring made of spring wire. Its structure is divided into type A and type B (as shown in the figure). The diameter ds of the spring wire varies according to the radius rs of the spring groove on the lip of the sealing ring. Generally, the ratio of DS to DS of the spring should be in the range of 5 ~ 6. The diameter ds of spring section shall be consistent with the radius rs of spring groove of rotary shaft lip seal ring.
Rubber sealing body
The rubber sealing body comprises an outer dust lip arranged on the outer diameter end of the ring plate, a contact sealing lip is arranged on the inner diameter end of the ring plate, the outer dust lip is located on the back side of the ring plate and extends along the axial direction to the end away from the raceway, and the outer circumference side of the outer dust lip has a contact sealing surface, The contact sealing surface is arranged from the root of the outer dust lip to the free end of the outer dust lip in a free state and gradually protrudes from the cylinder ring along the outer diameter direction. The outer dust lip is provided with a pressure reducing groove for the outer dust lip to be elastically deformed after being pressed into the annular space, so that the contact sealing surface and the wall of the annular space corresponding to the outer ring fit each other along the axial direction of the contact sealing, and the pressure reducing groove is arranged relative to the contact sealing surface.
