When the inner ring of the bearing is tightly fitted with the shaft and the outer ring is loosely fitted with the bearing seat hole, the bearing can be pressed on the shaft with external pressure, and then the shaft and the bearing can be installed into the bearing seat hole. During press fitting, an assembly sleeve made of soft metal material shall be padded on the end face of the bearing inner ring. The inner diameter of the assembly sleeve shall be slightly larger than the diameter of the journal and the outer diameter shall be slightly smaller than the retaining edge of the bearing inner ring, To prevent the sleeve from pressing on the cage.

When the outer ring of the bearing fits tightly with the bearing seat hole and the inner ring fits loosely with the shaft, the bearing can be pressed into the bearing seat hole first. At this time, the outer diameter of the assembly sleeve should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the seat hole. When pressing in the bearing, do not directly knock the bearing end face with tools such as hammer to avoid damaging the bearing. When the interference is small, press the end face of the bearing ring with the sleeve at room temperature, knock the sleeve with a hammer, and press the bearing ring evenly through the sleeve. It is a common and labor-saving installation method to change the tight fit into loose fit by heating the bearing or bearing seat and using thermal expansion. This method is suitable for the installation of bearings with large interference. Before hot installation, evenly heat the bearing or the ferrule of separable bearing to 80-100 ℃ with a baking gun, and then evacuate the heat source and install it immediately.

At this time, pay attention to the thermal protection of the installation personnel to avoid scalding. When the bearing outer ring is tightly matched with the bearing seat made of light metal, the hot installation method of heating the bearing seat can avoid the scratch of the mating surface. During the heating process, the temperature measurement instrument must be used to measure the temperature, and the overall temperature rise of the bearing must be strictly controlled not to exceed 100 ℃, so as to prevent tempering effect and change the mechanical properties of the bearing. The bearing shall be tested after installation. The smaller bearing shell shall be tested manually to see whether the bearing rotates smoothly. If it is large, it can rotate slightly without obvious resistance. After installation, the machine can be started for trial operation. The installation can be completed only after it is determined that the operation is stable.

Bearing lubrication needs to select appropriate viscosity grease according to the actual situation.
