What is bearing C3 clearance and how to detect it

2020-12-06

Bearing clearance refers to the amount of movement when the inner or outer ring of the bearing is fixed when it is not installed, and then the unfixed one moves radially or axially. According to the moving direction, it can be divided into radial clearance and axial clearance. The size of the running clearance (called working clearance) has an impact on the rolling fatigue life, temperature rise, noise, vibration and other properties of the bearing. The radial clearance of rolling bearings is generally divided into / C1, / C2, / C0, / C3, / C4, / C5 groups. 1. Group 2 was small clearance; group 0 was standard clearance; group 3, 4 and 5 were large clearance. The clearance group of rolling bearing should be selected according to the product type, size, temperature and the tightness of the shaft and hole. Of course, this is the problem that should be determined when the equipment is selected. Clearance detection should also be based on the relevant industry standards for professional testing.
